Joined NZ Herald art department in 1967. Contributed cartoons to Auckland University student publications in the early 70s and exhibited paintings, drawings and sculpture. Contributed to, and later co-edited, "Strips" comix magazine. In 1987, became NZ Herald daily editorial cartoonist ("Klarc") till 1996, then weekly till 2000. Graphic narrative work and political cartoons published and exhibited in NZ and overseas. Currently freelancing from Whangarei studio (editorial cartoons-writing humour columns, art reviews and articles).
